I do think traffic will do nothing but increase at this intersection as the areas population grows. For safety there should be left turn relief at this 'bypass' intersection.

For the record, downtown Rochester has only one bypass option for North and Eastbound trafficc (Letica Dr.). The anexation of the eastern residential section to Dewuindre has increased Main St traffic considerabily and slows response time for emergency response, not to mention rish hour drive times.
The light at Lerica and Parkdale needs to be upgraded. The northern end of Letica needs to be rerouted to the traffic circle at Tienken and Shelden. This was the original plan until Rochester Hills disaproved of the plan that skirted the Cemetary at the circle. This reminds me of the ridiculous closure of Tienken between Adams Rd and Squirrel years ago when Rochester.Hills had it's last genius plan!
