R. Several times monthly, distracted drivers ignore the warning signs along Lowery Street at Miami Ave. and crash into the gate leading to the City's Water Station. Since this gate has been repaired and replaced many, many times over the years, I'd like to suggest the placement of a flashing light in addition to the existing signs along Lowery St. The cost for the light may off-set the cost for replacing that gate, and may prevent more accidents or possible serious injury to people and/or other property.
