This property has been empty with boarded up windows for about a year. Someone reported the eyesore in January and the yard was cleaned up, but it has not been touched since and the weeds are awful again. Not only is it ugly,but those untended weeds are blowing into the surrounding properties. Home owners have a responsibility to maintain their property and it adversely impact the neighborhood. Please insure the yard is cleared of the overgrowth. I am also concerned about an empty, boarded up house attracting vagrants and vermin. The house is not inhabitable—shouldn’t it have to be torn down or refurbished in a reasonable timeframe? It is on the main thoroughfare to City Springs. Not a good look for our city.
