Q. What is the issue?
A. Maryland Ave is not a thru way. We have families with small children. There are residents and visitors who drive far too fast down this dead end street. With summer approaching, we will see an increase of vehicular traffic as folks visit Deer Island for recreation and seek out a parking space in the neighborhood on our street. Townsend (one street over) has signage that indicates "Children at Play". It is mounted on a utility pole.
