I am a parent of children at Albany International Center and a member of the PTA. A playground is slated to be build kitty corner to the school for use in the 2023-24 school year. Children will need to cross Lark St and 2nd St, which are both busy streets, to access the playground. We will be relying on limited staff to ensure the children's safety. We need a four-way stop or a speed bump at a minimum. Thank you for your attention to this critical matter, affecting hundreds of children.

When evaluating a request for a new street sign, Traffic Engineering staff must consider federal and state regulations, New York State vehicle and traffic law, in addition to general engineering practices.
