The No Turn on Red sign at the intersection of QSD and Sea St.for traffic turning right towards the Artery is too high and on the wrong side of the intersection. People trying to continue to the right are looking to their left to watch traffic and then proceeding through the intersection. A sign on an existing pole on the left side on the island would be more in view of approaching drivers. However drivers insist on running that red light under the guise of the legal right turn law. Some attention getting signage is needed.

I will forward this info along to our Traffic Engineer, but this intersection is under the jurisdiction of DCR, so we can't unilaterally decide to make a change.
