Thank you, Hampton L, for your note about clearing blocked drains, I do appreciate the effort and the timely resposne. However, the other larger issue is the delayed leaf pick up. The city leaf pick up schedule reflected dates of 11/21 to 12/06 for this neighborhood, as I understand the leaf pick up schedule . If we get another downpour of rain, the leaves that are now sitting in the street will be dragged down, along with the draining rain water, to block the storm drains again. The water cannot drain down the street into the storm drain with all the leaves piled up along the edges of the curb where folks have raked or blown them into the street with leaf blowers, thinking the leaves would be picked up quickly. I was hoping to hear when we could expect the leaves to be picked up on our street? Thanks, Connie

12/14/2011 - Thank you so much for expressing your concerns with the City of Richmond government. A review of the Reopen statement has been accomplished and it has been determined that the City of Richmond has planned Leaf Collection for the Bellevue, Ginter Park, Washington Park area for dates that include December 19th until January 6th; weather permitting - rtt
