Because you do not have anyone of any importance living in your area the road will not be fixed, words straight from the Department of Public Works. They even had the nerve to tell me to go to Lowe's and buy my own bags of patch to fix the hole in front of my drive.

SAD Project...Special Assessment Development Project paid for by the residents will repair the road. Talk to Clinton Township, they will increase your tax base to accomodate you.

those comments about no one of importance or you buying your own patch did not come from anyone official at clinton twp public works. the streets are the resposibility of the county as far as maintenance goes.

I have lived in Charter Oaks cooperatives for 25 years and this road has never been replaced although I have paid greatly in taxes to support my Clinton Twp community. This is truly a case of throwing money at politicians who turn a deaf ear to those whose money they gladly take but do not hear the legitimate needs of the citizens who support their community. I just replaced the front axle tie rods on my car which I haven't even owned 3 full years. I creep along at 5 to 10 mph to try to baby my new front end alignment. If one of the city fathers lived on this street it would be fixed TODAY. Dee, Clinton Twp life time resident

dee the county fixes the roads...not the township, GET OVER IT!!

Sorry but this is a private road. Please contact your condo association and get off the taxpayer's backs.

That road was awful back when I lived there 20 years ago, can't believe it's still terrible. FYI Steve: it is a county road NOT a private one.
