Traffic Engineering has made a site visit and found no issues with the signalized intersection of Grandview Blvd. and Zierdt Rd. When the crosswalk pushbutton is depressed, the pedestrian signal does in fact provide a walk, countdown flashing don't walk, and steady don't walk indications. When you are referring to the north to west FYA (Flashing Yellow Arrow) regarding making the left turn safely, please be sure to follow the driving rules/laws, and to yield to any oncoming traffic and pedestrians before proceeding. It does not resolve my issue.

As I explained - anytime that the traffic light is green and the left hand turn is flashing yellow, the pedestrian signal should be signalling walk.

It does not do this.

Furthermore, when you do attempt to use it, there is not nearly enough time to walk across before it turns back to don't cross.

Correction - this is a satisfactory solution, especially with the increased cross time.
