Description

There is a large growing pothole between 2526 and 2518 Stonington Road. Likely the coming freezing weather will accelerate the deterioration of the pavement. Drivers already avoid the pothole by swerving to the other side of the road, which has nearly caused at least one accident. There is rough pavement and several smaller potholes as you continue toward East Kings Point, but this one is the largest and deepest. As shown in the photo, the depth extends down to the clay layer.
