Last heavy rain 2or 3 weeks ago my basement backed up the water eventually went down on its own. Had a plumber come out and snaked my drain out to the City Drain and he found nothing in the Residential Line. This happens to us after a heavy rain leading me to believe the City Drain is not continuing to flow as it should or the Catch Basins are full causing a backup on the Entire Drain or somehow just mine. The Plumber showed me where the City Drain Water was flowing almost as high or higher than the Residential Drop Off Point.
