If I can remember right, someone else on here got chased out of town with pitch forks for driving a little picture frame nail into a tree for a yard sale sign. How is this any different?

Yes, people are allowed to mourn but shrines on public property should be limited to 30 days. Not 3 years of decorating this poor tree for every season, holiday, etc. These shrines send a message to visitors that they are in a dangerous neighborhood and build on the neighborhood’s already declining reputation
