Description
Some of floodlights installed during the upgrades of the City tennis courts are directed at our home front. It is especially a nuisance now that the home that was at Sixth and Madison has been demolished. I am requesting that the fixtures are adjusted to a more appropriate angle due to the wattage and intensity of the lighting. Not only will this create a more pleasant nighttime environment, it will direct the light where it is most beneficial to the users of the courts.

Luckily the foliage is heavy this time of year because the issue seems worse now. The lights facing west are now pointed more directly at our home. I’m no expert on lighting although maybe some sort of hood can be installed on them to shield the beams where they point west? Either that or adjust the angle at dusk or dawn when the issue is worst.
I’ll share a picture if the forum gives me the option.
