Daughter called for her 90-year-old mom. Not too long ago, Fire Dept allegedly came out to property and wrapped a fallen wire around a phone pole in front of property. This line is to a landline, and will need to be reconnected in order to restore power to landline phone. Right now mom has no other way to reach anyone.

Is this a telephone company issue? Will they have to reconnect the wire to the power source?
