Agree. The traffic backs up in the fast lane with cars driving over the posted 55mph in upwards of 80mph.
We also need strob lights due to the blinding sun.

Left turning lane needs to lengthen. Long lanes of cars sit in left lane of rt.3. As I sit in the left lane waiting thru many lights changes I hold my breath as the drivers whip around me trying to beat out the right lane drivers. Also as of today you go to that intersection you see signs laying down in the grass from cars hitting them to avoid the very fast pace poorly designed intersection.

It a pity to see no action at this intersection since I opened the issue back on 2011-11-26. As you can see from the additional problems with these lights there needs to be rework done on this set of lights and the intersection to make it safe and efficient for all road users.

This lane needs to be a hell of a lot longer. It causes cars to protrude into the left traffic lane and clogs up traffic as well as causing a safety hazard.
