Description
This abandoned house is infested with large Rats, Fleas and Roaches. Due to standing stagnant water, the house is also a source of mosquito and their larvae. The yard is covered in feces. There is one of two pit bulls chained to a fixed location that is less than three feet resulting in the dog eating and sleeping in it's own feces. Building and codes, the health department and metro animal control have been contacted several times by the entire neighborhood association many times. Please help.

The Department of Codes and Building Safety has been contacted one (1) time about this property, which was on August 24, 2011 and the citizen reported the following: DILAPIDATED HOUSE - INOPERABLE VEHICLE IN BACK YARD. Codes inspected this location and issued ghre owner of record a 30 day abate notice to remove all inoperable vehicles, cut all high grass and weeds and remove all trash from the premises. Codes saw no visible signs of the violations you have just reported such as rats or the structure itseflf having such violations. The Metro Health Department handles any issues with vermin. The owner had until September 26, 2011 to clean the premsies. On September 26, 2011 the reinspeciton was made and there had been no progress. Codes then requested a civil warrant and we asked for a court date of November 9, 2011.
We were notified that to date the warrant has not been served. Until the warrant is served to the owner, Codes can only monitor the property until we can prosecute in court. The Codes RFS Number is 11-1064458.
In the future, please use the official Codes and Building Safety website to report a code violation and to gain a status on a request as Click Fix is not the official site to submit and review such requests, as we will not be responding back to Click Fix on this case again.
