I just noticed that there is a contracted street sweeper going through the neighborhood. Doesn't the city own street sweepers, and why would we not use them? Why are we paying a contractor to come through the neighborhood on a Saturday? ls this because the city is behind like everybody else when it comes to trying to clean up after the storm damage? We usually don't get street sweeping during the winter. We hardly get street sweeping during the Spring and Summer.
