Near 20 Buses are idling the perimeter of the park. i asked a few to turn off their engines and they looked at me funny. i asked the police officer parked at Poplar St and Poplar Dr. if they or the PPD plan on enforcing the no-idling laws, and he said, "i don't know buddy, not my problem today".
311 is closed. 911 didn't care much either. she referred me to directly contact the 9th. isn't 911 supposed to the the liaison between the public and the PPD? what exactly to my disproportionate property taxes pay for? ???
