Ridley police too lazy? Did you make a complaint and they did not show up? I somehow doubt that. You are complaining just to complain....Ridley is not a ghetto, I take exception to that and unfortunately teens do not have much to do in Ridley do they? If anyone is causing damage to your property, certainly report it. If you just can't stand kids walking around etc. well, they do have a right to "be a kid." just sayin'

I lived in Ridley for 30 years and glad I got out when I did it definately has changed. My best friend was gunned down last month cause he built a shed. people will get killed for less cause no one gives a @#$% about thier neighbors and or kids in the area.

If it continues people will continue to leave property values will drop cause of the crime and BS that goes on there and it will slowly turn into Chester.

The Ridley Police need to get their priorities straight. They should be shutting these kids down, not stopping everyone who rides through town on a motorcycle treating them like they are outlaws. They even stop members of police organized motorcycle clubs and hassle them telling them they don't want them driving through "their town". I guess they have no training and watch too much Sons of Anarchy so they can't distinguish between good organizations and criminal ones. Try hiring officers based on what credentials they have and not what party they belong to or who they know. Do that and, like other parts of the country, you end up with well trained, highly qualified candidates for you force.

Are you new to the neighborhood? As a grown-up and homeowner, I sympathize with you, but kids have been misbehaving "down at the bridge" since long before I was one of the them back in the late 70's!

Hey Blarney Stone where did you move to Garnet Valley. The Valley has way more drug and drinking issues than Ridley. Better wake up and move back home.

This has been happening for 40 years that I know of, MAYBE the police should worry more about the IDIOTS that don't know how to stop at the stop sign at fulmer AND LET KIDS BE KIDS as long as they are not hurting anyone.

This is an age old problem that will never go away. When these kids grow up and stop going there, kids who are in kindergarten right now will be down there. That problem was there before you moved in and will be there long after you are gone. You live at one of the quietest places in Ridley and have deer in your yard. The "lazy" cops are probably in woodlyn or crum Lynn dealing with people who are actually committing crimes.
