Wake Forest’s newest addition to it’s “ Water Parks For All “ campaign to bring cascading rivers to every neighborhood in town. We would like to thank the planning department and all of the developers who spend their time and money to this make this happen. Knowing there is a proposed “runoff tax” for the residents of Wake Forest on the docket every citizen will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing efforts.

The Engineering Department is investigating a plan that may require design and funding. The Town of Wake Forest currently has several ongoing projects that require approval for funding. We appreciate your patience as we continue to work towards a resolution. The Town is aware of your concerns , and continuous posts will not alter our ongoing efforts.

Thank you so much! The Town’s acknowledgment of the issue and transparency regarding solutions are very much appreciated. My family has been unable to enjoy our backyard consistently for several years and we look forward to a resolution. We would also like to appreciate and acknowledge the struggle to find funding for projects as we have already spent well over $5,000 trying to remedy the situation so we can stand in our yard, grow a garden, entertain around the fire pit, etc. all things we enjoyed for years prior to this development. There will be ‘continuous posts’! How else would you even know where the problems exists ? As the current residents suffer the consequences of past ‘poor judgement’, one would hope funds are allocated for preemptive ‘design and funding’.
