there is a stray cat that has spent at least a year under the deck of this corner house. #26 Gilpin Road. I dont know how the cat made it thru last winter, but several people have tried to catch her with no success. she keeps having litters and the kittens end up dieing.

The Delco SPCA is not going to help as they do not do animal control. Delaware County Animal Control does not work in Upper Darby (the # "Mama" gave will not help you). Upper Darby has their own animal control but they will trap her and have her destroyed. It's not her fault she was dumped outside or that she keeps having kittens. If you do nothing else, PLEASE borrow a trap from The Spayed Club and trap the cat and have her spayed. It's only $30 to have a wild cat spayed. Purrfect Paws or Project MEOW might be able to teach you how to trap or you can find instructions online thru Alley Cat Allies at www.alleycat.org/ A no-kill rescue might be able to help you find a home for her if she's friendly but please have her spayed first.
