Hi, I’m the owner of 83 Gifford Ave who received notice of violation for sidewalk repair. When I got this violation the instructions state to call Div. of Forestry if sidewalk defect is being caused by a city tree. So I promptly called Div. of Forestry - now months ago - to inform a tree is causing my sidewalk issues, I talked to Angelina. I was told it could take JC Div. of Forestry several weeks to come to my property to look at the tree/sidewalk problem but it’s now been longer than that. I don’t want to be penalized because I’m waiting for City Forestry to show/respond. May I please request a firm date when I can expect JC’s Division of Forestry to come see the tree and sidewalk defect? When they finally arrive, I want to speak with Div. of Forestry in person to clearly understand next steps. Thank you. Georgia

Hello, Beyond the sidewalk being caused by a tree root, there are trees at 82 Bentley and 81 Gifford I need to speak with Forestry about. It's been over a year since I put in a call to Al Lynch. Separately, I have a very large branch that fell for collection. Thankfully no one was injured. And no cars parked on Gifford nor my house were damaged. This latest limb falling though is related to the City not acting timely to reported trees. Thanks.
