Thanks for informing us of the traffic/parking concerns in your neighborhood. I have notified out dispatch center who will dispatch a police officer to the area. Please keep in mind our dispatch number is 862-8600 and can be called twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for any concerns you may have which can be addressed immediately. If this is in a condo community, this may be an issue for the homeowners association to address. The property may be consider private property, in which the police department cannot enforce a tractor trailer simply parking on the property. If it is blocking or parking in a fire lane or handicapped space, the police department CAN enforce. Please keep in mind handicapped parking needs to be marked appropriately. If it is not marked accordingly to code we cannot enforce it because it would not be considered a handicap parking space. Our officers when they come out to the location will check the area.
