Description
This intersection has the same issue with fair oaks and woodlake hills down the street. Im asking for the same to be done here with traffic signals and left turn lanes to be added due to also the failue rate of stopping for the stop sign and the speed limit being too high for a stop sign (40mph and 45mph) With that, The outer lanes or overtake lanes should be removed at this intersection due to this issue aswell as drivers using it to speed and overtake by other drivers especially with how short the "passing lane" is, so that's another safety issue here. The space instead should be filled with the full bike lane or even better a buffer bike lane. Thats if a 5 lane fair oaks blvd between here and woodlake hills is not going to happen (although it should be taken into consideration due to the amount of traffic on this road).
