For many nights in the past weeks, there has been unbearable construction noise coming from work on the queensboro bridge. I do not understand how using a jackhammer near residential places between 11pm-4am is a reasonable choice, as it keeps resident awake.
Can the Department of Transportation provide any information regarding the overnight work which is being done on the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge. When will it be completed and is there any way to reduce the noise keeping Roosevelt Island residents awake at night?
