The same thing happens to me, Nicole, and I have MS and a husband who works 3 jobs. Our weeds get high and I mow our leaves, rather than raking and bagging them, which upsets our neighbors. They've called code enforcement on us before. My kids are great at picking up the tree limbs and got plenty of practice at it with the last storm. I will drive past and see if I think we could be of help. Would you be open to that?

I am! disabled also and understand where your coming from to resolve this why instead of acting like children get together and help these ppl out it is called team effort!

I live up the road from you. Its your property I do not have a problem with it. You do have several cars always in the driveway or being worked on by younger people there. So you do have people to help you. Have them help or kick their butts out. That's your personal business. We live in the country people. If you don't like the looks of our property's don't look or drive another way. God put the leaves and sticks here he can take them away! I am sorry to hear that you have rude neighbors we are not all that way. Most of the time its responses from people who have lived in town and move out here and think we should live like townies. People are sooooo mean. PA people are the worst.

Thank you to everyone that has been very supportive! The cars in the driveway are worked on by my father in law, you pretty much have to not live there for him to fix your car! lol. He's trying... I'm going to pull the lawnmower up and just run all of the leaves over with it. My neighbor across the street is always raking a blowing his (almost every day, no joke), but the lady who's grandkids always harrass me are selling their house, hopefully the people that buy it aren't so nasty.

Gosh times have changed so much! When I was growing up in our neighborhood, all the neighbors helped one another out if they needed it. I think it's dispicable to treat anyone like that, let alone someone who could use a helping hand due to no fault of their own! If you can't get out and help, DON'T complain, because someday YOU could be in that boat.

I'm not anywhere close to that area or I'd help, but maybe there are local church members or other groups that would be willing to help if they knew that you needed a hand. Hope things ease up for you a bit!
