Years ago the road got really beat up. That was about the only thing that slowed some people down. But when they re-paved it, the drivers act like its the Indianopolis 500. Watching a vehicle going about 60 mph (I'm not kidding about this) become airborne on the hill and then crash is very traumatic.

Still nothing being done about the speeders on Petrified Garden Road. Will it take a pedestrian being injured or killed to make the city pay attention to this safety issue. There are children getting on school buses on this road and I shudder to think what could happen if someone rear ends the school bus.
