Do you not mean south on to the viaduct instead of west? There is no need for a turning light going west because when the light changes you can go that way if you want too.

i beleive they mean southbound from 15th onto central, up the viaduct. There is a left turn lane there, but why no left turn light/

there is ne need for a left turn light if you're turning off central onto 15th heading west, as there is no oncoming traffic.

Instead of nitpicking, how about reading it as it's written. The westbound lanes of 15th need a turning arrow at Central Avenue. Made perfect sense to me.

we are in bad need of a complete overhaul of the lights in this city - but yes we definitely need left turn arrows for 15th street west bound at central AND at 1st ave west (by dairy queen)

I have mentioned this to city council members several times when I was driving taxi. Their excuse was that a traffic count was made and it was not warranted. Of course the count was low--everyone is scared to turn left there and turn left at 2nd Ave instead. Using that logic the bridge does not have to be fixed because heavy traffic is not using it anymore and streets so rough that people avoid them dont have to be fixed because the traffic flow is low.

Pepole don't have time on their hands. It maybe important for the "arrow", try other route. 10 mins and you can almost be anywhere in the city if you no how to drive.Ok 15mins for extra heavy days of traffic. lol.
