This report is regarding strip of roadway spanning the west side of the Ashley-Washington intersection which was removed earlier this summer and filled with asphalt after some underground work was done: The filler-asphalt over time has compressed by 1-2" - could it be filled once again to be closer to level with the road surface?

Hello; it appears no action was taken on this strip of sunken pavement, and it has compressed further (now 1-2" below the surrounding road surface). This will likely be quite hazardous to people who walk and use bikes during and following snow events. Could it be built back up to be even with the surrounding roadway? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for reaching back out. The previous request was closed by mistake. This was forwarded to our right of way inspectors on October 17th to address. Since it is not a pothole issue and is a contractor issue this request will be recategorized as a pavement repair. Right of way inspectors from our engineering department will look into this further and address with the responsible contractor.
