the kids at oakland high use our subdivison as a short cut. but they speed thru here like its race time. the speed limit is 30 mph but they think it 50 or above. we have a lot of kids waiting on the buses,and as a parent we feel like the kids are in danger. we have ask the city to police the area,but they come thru after every thing has calmed down. we would like channel 4"s help getting this matter resolved. they race thru here starting around 7:15 till 8:00 am in the morning. it all starts over in the afternoon when school lets out,from 2:45 till about 3:00 pm. we don"t need one of our neighborhood kids to get hit by a car from speeding.
