There are very nice bike lanes on Sage Road and on Old Durham Road However, the intersection at US 15-501 heading north is subpar The bike lane does not continue across the intersection and both cars and bikes are confused about how to behave. The first car will generally jump ahead, and it often is tricky for a bicycle to find a way to merge into traffic.
