Sometime after I posted the picture above, the remnants of that sofa finally left the neighborhood. Oddly, not until right after Mayor Barry's death, when news trucks were crawling all up and down Talbert Street. So, I repeat my earlier questions: Why is our government so corrupt? Why can't we count on things being done right, and right away, by our government? Why do we here in Ward 8 wait and wait and wait for our city government to work to protect our interests? Why does our government work to make our lives harder, rather than making our lives easier?
