  Thanks for reaching out to us with your concern. Next year, the City is planning to evaluate parking needs along Winthrop St from Lawrence Rd to the Mystic River, which Eversource is going to repave after they finish their underground utility work. We plan to propose bike lanes along this stretch of the corridor, which will tie into the bike lanes on the section of Winthrop between the Winchester Line and Lawrence Rd, which were approved by Traffic Commission in September. The proposed pavement marking design with bike lanes for the Lawrence to River portion will also need to be approved by Traffic Commission. So changes to the stretch of road you're referring to may be coming soon!
