Description
The decision to reduce Broad Street northbound from three lanes to two (with one being right turn only onto highway) between Capitol Ave. and the highway on ramp was a huge mistake. Traffic has been backed up all along Broad St., and is affecting traffic on Capitol Ave. as well. Considering how many cars use this thoroughfare daily it seems like poor planning on the part of the city. It took me 10 minutes to get from Capitol Ave. in front of the LOB to the highway onramp.

If the CT DOT had kept Flower Street open to all traffic, this would be less of an ordeal.
There had been opportunities to weigh in on both the Broad Street changes and the decision to close Flower Street. Complaining after the fact does not do much.
