Description

Patrons of local businesses are constantly using designated residential parking on Wooster St. This is especially bad on Wednesday evenings (patrons of Joker's Wild, who I have kindly asked to move so I had a place to park and refused) and Saturday mornings-afternoon (patrons of the Wooster Square farmer's market), as well as weekend evenings. There are repeat offenders (a red mini cooper with a white top, a purple Scion XB with the license plate "LOYOLA"), and this issue goes unchecked on weeknights and weekends. Can we PLEASE get someone out here to ticket and tow during the evenings and on weekends?? This is a signed ticket and tow area, and it goes largely unenforced. We have a very limited amount of residential parking, and residents pay a lot of money in taxes as well as the extra parking permit fee. We should not be punished because businesses do not provide enough parking or because people can't read street signs!
