Why can't this intersection be modified to allow both the left and center lanes to turn left onto Sumneytwon Pike from Allentown Road? Now that Sumneytwon is widened there is plenty of capacity to absorb the cars turning from Allentown. The line of cars can back up a 1/4 mile on Allenown and several cycles of the traffic light waiting to make this turn in the morning.
