ALDOT has plans to change hwy 72 through Madison by cutting off access to all intersections and side streets. The only way to access businesses on the other side of the road (it they aren't torn out by widening) will be to use their new "Michigan U turn" either by Kroger or by the new Target. No other left turn in Madison will be allowed. There is far more than I can include here. They had one "information only" meeting at DMS that was not publicized. This project starts in 2016. Please investigate. Madison residents are very concerned.
