Description

There have been a number of near miss pedestrian accidents in this curve because traffic speeds into the curve in front of Beach Colony as they fly past the Reef Restaurant. Pedestrians walking on Johnson Beach Rd and from the National Park (which are many every day) trying to get back to Beach Colony, Indigo, Palacio and others are repeatedly subjected to drivers swinging wide at the Beach Colony turn in lane which puts them on the shoulder facing and about to run over pedestrians walking west bound.
It is a daily, nightly issue, 24/7 and many people are being subjected to potential serious if not deadly injury.
A woman was nearly hit in a wheel chair, another walking to Indigo, another to Palacio.
Something must be done to keep drivers inside their lane traveling east and then north at that intersection or death or serious injury will occur. Its a very, very frequent happening. Pedestrians must be protected!!!!
