When will the city begin ticketing for marijuana smoking outside? I like to go to this restaurant on Albert St and on my way there, brunch or dinner, I am always walking through clouds of marijuana smoke. How is this acceptable in such a nice neighborhood? I was going to rent there in January, but I am reconsidering. It just makes the neighborhood feel trashy.

There are cameras outside of Cook & Shaker to deter crime and other unfavorable activity. They also sweep their corner throughout the day to keep it clean and free of trash. The 'marijuana smoking' isn't happening at this address. Perhaps it's occuring at the basketball court located on Tucker St.
Also Philadelphia is decriminalizing marijuana possession effective 10/20/14.. So there's that.

I had to walk past the smoke I am talking about, with my niece, with our destination being the nice restaurant for dinner. It was from the basketball court, on a stoop and on a corner when we left. Not near the restaurant. The close streets surrounding that help you get there. I don't want this to effect other customers. What I was trying to say, and I may have phrased this incorrectly, but I want the business to succeed so I can visit. I was trying to bring this disrespectful "smoking in public" to someones attention to try to make the neighborhood better.
