If you travel halfway down Pleasant St there is a 4'X20' section of stone wall that has collapsed covering the sidewalk. It has been this way since the beginning of the summer and with winter creeping up I presume will be there till spring. Maybe the new blight officer didn't get to the P streets yet. Does the town own the sidewalk or the property owner?

Homeowner owns both the wall and sidewalk. You need to call the blight officer. He does not go around looking for issues unless someone complains.

The blight guy and mayor are useless! I have called several times and they never return calls.

I agree. If the blight officer is being paid a salary, does he sit in a room looking out the window waiting for his phone to ring? Of course he should also take random drives looking for violations. Residents can help, but are not there to do his job for him.
