I can't believe this hasn't been fixed. I returned to Oakland on August 22 and immediately reported that 11 street lights in the plaza and the arrival/departure platforms were not functioning plus another 6 inside the depot. Here's the link: http://seeclickfix.com/issues/1251505
As I took photos, one of the station agents told me that the Port of Oakland is the landlord and is not responsive to their complaints.

These have been out of order for a long time and it would be helpful if this could be fixed post haste especially in light of the recent mugging. I know all surrounding neighbors and businesses would appreciate it.
This was initially reported 8/22/14, apparently. This should be considered unacceptable. Received a voice message today from a woman that I spoke to when I called the number provided above, and was told to check back in a week or so.
