Description

Hello, I am writing to you to share what I and anyone else who tries to cross at the corner of Yale New Haven Hospital at York St and Frontage road at anytime between 7:30am and 6pm weekdays experiences. Each time the light turns red, there are drivers stopped in the crosswalk. An officer needs to be there to stop this because someone is sure to get hurt in the dangerous situation. Walking in between cars in the crosswalk is dangerous because other cars continue to drive through and can not see pedestrians. I felt compelled to write you in hopes that you will share this story so they can put an officer at this corner to stop drivers from not stopping at the red light.
Please take this seriously. It is an absolutely dangerous situation where someone is sure to be extremely hurt if not worse.

Thankyou so much.
