Description

Most of the water fountains in the Monticello Park don't work, the 2 that work have no water pressure in it so they are impossible to drink from. The one in the picture is situated centered between tennis courts, rollerskating rink and soccer field, so it is needed. With high temperatures and high humidity the lack of the drinking water is one lawsuit away for the city to be liable for someone's medical emergency bill, which would cost more for one occurrence than actually fixing the fountains. I personally almost fainted from heat and needed some water and none were to be found, This has been an ongoing issue for at least 6 months and it must be fixed. We are not a 3rd world country and the government must provide a minimum services here. Up until now this situation with lack of drinking water and broken fountains all over has been and continue to be unacceptable. Someone has to take responsibility and fix the issue, as waiting a year for the problem to be resolved is a dereliction of duties by the local government.
