Sadly, this person set three random fires yesterday. It is easy to see where from the burn scars. The fire department was alerted, they called OPD (they will not come unless the fires are active) and OPD sent an officer after this individual created a barrier in the middle of Brook St with trash cans and rocks. The officer spoke with the individual, who appears to have some mental health issues, and he disappeared for half and hour, only to return and build his trash encampment at the corner. Likely nothing will happen unless there is some kind of property damage or worse physical harm to someone.

Oh great! I wonder if this is the same person who took over the bridge down at the creek for over a year before the city did anything about it.

The sidewalk is now completely impassable with garbage everywhere
