The city needs to fine the people letting the buildings along this strip rot in hopes that they'll get a big payday from Albany Med the next time they decide to expand. Same goes for the Tudors crumbling on Holland Ave. These are the sort of violations that bring the city should be pursuing. Allowing properties to fall into disrepair as part of land speculation like these two examples (I can give more, how about that building on the corner of Lark and Madison that's been a vacant storefront since it was built?) is disgraceful. The city and our community needs to push back against this behavior because, in my opinion, it is way more detrimental to the city than whether someone's trash cans are visible from the street

This block requires more than the occasional clean up. Looks better now. I wish police would be able to tell the creepy people hanging around there to move along from private property. Its gross and right around the corner from luxury apartments.
