Thank you for contacting Mayor Kriseman via SeeClickFix regarding traffic calming and speed enforcement. He asked that I respond directly to you and discuss the issues you are concerned about. The St Petersburg Police Department is committed to the safety and rights of everyone who lives and recreate in our City.

After receiving your concerns, Lieutenant Wyatt was assigned to conduct research and investigate. He assigned officers from the Speed Enforcement Unit to address the issue. He also disseminated the information to Mike Frederick, who is the manager at the City’s Department of Transportation and Parking, as well as the area Community Service Officers. Patrol Officers and Selective Enforcement Officers have all been conducting Directed Patrols in the area during varied times and have issued numerous citations in the area. These officers will continue to monitor this location and take enforcement action as needed.
