first it's frustrating that the city mails out tax bills and then say it's due the next day absolutely ridiculous.
and second highly upset I have to pay all these car taxes when half the city has out of state plates and no one seems to care nor doing anything about it

Thank you for reporting the issue to the City of Bridgeport. Please see information below regarding time period for paying tax bill:
Taxes are due on July 1, payable by August 2. You have a one month “grace” period in which to pay without penalty. If August 1 falls on a Saturday or Sunday, you will have until that Monday in which to pay, in person or by mail. Bills in the amount of $100 or less are due in a single installment at this time. Bills in excess of $100 are due in two installments. The second installment of these bills will come due January 1, payable by February 1.
