The landlord of 801 Pennsylvania has placed a chain across his parking lot in response to unauthorized parking by non-tenants. However, this is also preventing his tenants from using the lot. As a result, his tenants now feel it is okay to use our lot. He is legally required to have those spaces available as the building is newer construction. The landlord should just arrange something with a towing company to deal with non-authorized users and stop inconveniencing the rest of us. The alley is becoming an impassable parking lot because of this issue and there is no way a fire truck could get through in an emergency.
