The issue was closed by Dunwoody Public Works on 06-17-2014 with the following 'resolution':

This issue is located within the Georgia DOT ROW and has been passed along to the District 7 Maintenance Supervisor for resolution. Thank you for making aware of this issue.

I think it is important that the City of Dunwoody have a process in place to ensure followup on issues like this one that while very important to our citizenry are the responsibility of other Public
Service Agencies.

This issue has been reported to GDOT for possible resolution. Issues are closed when confirmation is provided that the issue has been resolved by the third party.

@Dunwoody Public Works How is the issue closed just because you hand it off to GDOT? This 4 month old issue still exists. I did also report it to GDOT today:

Subject: Report Maintenance Need
Your Comments: The tree canopy on Cotillion Drive eastbound as motorists approach N Shallowford Road obscures drivers view of the traffic light until they are about twenty yards from the intersection. This is I've have been advised within the GDOT maintained area along I-285. The trees over the roadway need to be trimmed back to lessen the hazard of traffic accidents. The City of Dunwoody Public Works department said that they referred this request to GDOT when I reported it FOUR MONTHS AGO!!!!

This issue remains open after 6 months

Over six months later this simple tree trimming and traffic safety request on Cotillion Road remains unresolved. The click fix system does not seem to be working and seems like a waste of time. GDOT has not responded and the City of Dunwoody has not been successful in getting GDOT to address this clear traffic safety issue nor have they addressed it themselves. very disappointing

GDOT is scheduled to trim the trees back on Tuesday March 3rd...

Work is being performed by GDOT.
