I live beside an empty lot owned by the City of Newnan. There is a tree on the lot next to my house. The top of the tree, 1/2 is dead. Last Sunday night (August 17) a bad thunderstorm came through Newnan. The wind of the storm broke a long limb from the tree, the limb went through my attic, I had to have my roof and the ceiling to my bedroom repaired. This cost me over $500.00 which was not in my budget. I am afraid this is going to happen again, I cannot afford another issue with this dead tree. I am asking if the City will come out and clean this lot which is overgrown, trashed and has many rats located on it. I am also asking if the tree could be cut down or trimmed of the dead limbs.
